The movie High School Musical has finally come to Japan. But did you know that it is a remake from when my wife and I starred in this movie in the 1980s? In fact, we met on the set.

Last weekend I was down at the beach here in Hamamatsu to release baby loggerheads into the wild. Only one in about 2000 will make it to adulthood.

Kyoto Weekend

This past weekend my oldest brother and his youngest son were in Japan, so we all went to Kyoto to do some sightseeing. Of course we went to all the famous places. I enjoy Kyoto every time I go there. One thing I really enjoy in the summer is the riverside with outdoor restaurants. If you go there, check it out.
