Krispy Kreme has the world's best doughnuts. Just looking at them makes me hungry.

Last weekend I was down at the beach here in Hamamatsu to release baby loggerheads into the wild. Only one in about 2000 will make it to adulthood.

Kyoto Weekend

This past weekend my oldest brother and his youngest son were in Japan, so we all went to Kyoto to do some sightseeing. Of course we went to all the famous places. I enjoy Kyoto every time I go there. One thing I really enjoy in the summer is the riverside with outdoor restaurants. If you go there, check it out.

Thailand

During this break I am doing some research activities in Thailand. First I was in Bangkok to attend a graduation ceremony. After the ceremony, some of us went to a restaurant to celebrate. We ate lots of great Thai food.



After leaving Bangkok, I traveled up north to visit another university. Along the way, we stopped at a new temple being built. It is very big and beautiful.
